In 2021, RealFevr embarked on an ambitious journey into the Web3 market, marking our steadfast dedication to innovation as a Portuguese startup. As pioneers in bringing Web3 products to Portugal, we have remained committed to fostering growth and evolution within our industry.
Today, as we pause to reflect on our journey, we recognize the necessity of adapting to an ever-evolving landscape. While Fantasy Leagues have been a cherished aspect of our brand’s history, we acknowledge the necessity of redirecting our focus towards new scale-up opportunities.
We understand that many of you have come to know RealFevr through our Fantasy App, and we appreciate the support and enthusiasm you’ve shown for our platform. However, as a company, we must sometimes make difficult decisions in order to facilitate growth and ensure sustainable progress.
Therefore, it is with a blend of reflection and resolve that we announce the closure of our Fantasy Leagues platform, as we fully dedicate ourselves to the advancement of Web3 technologies.
🤔 WHY?
It’s important for us to provide context to our valued community. While our Fantasy app boasted an impressive user base, with over 2.5 million downloads and 1 million registered users, sustaining its operations required significant resources, time, and investment. Regrettably, the endeavor became unsustainable in the long term.
As Plato once remarked, “A good decision is based on knowledge and not on numbers.”
While the numbers underscored our app’s popularity, our experience and insights have led us to conclude that a shift in focus was necessary for the long-term prosperity of our company.

As a startup, we acknowledge that mistakes are inevitable. Yet, we are resolute in our belief that this strategic transition towards becoming a full-fledged Web3 company is both necessary and overdue. Organya is a gamified world with a focus on a sports turn-based strategy game where players build decks composed of RealFevr digital collectibles (which are sports video moments such as goals and saves from the world’s top athletes) that become in-game assets, to battle against each other.
